With the advent of a marked increase in super-villain and alien activity, G.U.A.R.D. has since created super-powered "super-groups" such as AEROGUARDIANS, SEAGUARDIANS, ASTROGUARDIANS and TERRAGUARDIANS.  Each group is dedicated to G.U.A.R.D. and are used to support G.U.A.R.D.'s operations should the mission require a 'super' involvement.
