Born not long after the Soltan Inavasion of Earth, Frenel 'Fren' Adams became the first son to two married invasion superheroes: Derek Adams AKA Firebird and Monique Adams AKA Conflagration.

Frenel initially started life as any other first child. Busy parents, hectic lifestyle, new siblings being born to help take care of, lots of schoolwork...and a surprisingly early introduction to his inherent family's mutant-based powers: fire.  At age 7, Frenel while at a camping trip with the family wanted his dad to use his (dad's) fire powers to start the campfire; when his father told him 'not yet, soon', Frenel instead pretended to be his father and play at starting the fire in the campfire. He DID start the fire himself; a cauldron of flame that shot 20 feet into the air.  That's when the camping trip was cut short and Frenel was taken to specialized doctors to determine the breadth and surprisingly early (pre-pubescent) use of his powers. The doctors had no idea how he was able to use his powers at so early of an age, but they did learn what types of powers and abilities he had; all fire-based.

After an unsuccessful year in school after gaining his powers (it didn't take long for the school to learn he had powers), Frenel's mother, Monique (AKA Conflagration) was asked to 'remove' him from public school. She tried to get him into private schools, but none would accept a super-powered pre-teen.  As such, Frenel had to be homeschooled in a hybrid manner, using the internet, professional teachers and tutors visiting their home and many jaunts to GUARD HQ and Zenith Labs.  With such an unusual education and family (they ALL had superpowers!), he considered himself quite lucky to be able to be doted on as much as he was.  He still had to help his siblings, but he got along with each of them, treating them with respect and humanity and became an example of a great big brother to each of them in turn.

By age 16, Frenel had already been checked out in operating all of the family's life-saving vehicles, equipment and emergency services and life saving qualifications. When the Superhero Registration Act (SRA) was put into law, Frenel was immediately told he was ineligible to be a superhero due to his age and 'inexperience'...that is, until Frenel himself devised a formal response and a demand for an interview with any SRA Registration Authority whose job it was to certify superheroes.  Not only did Frenel pass his certification, he aced the entire process. As such, Frenel was given the first ever 'age exemption' status for a person under 18 years of age with powers to be allowed to be officially registered as a superhero. Of course, each of his siblings, as they became qualified, also certified and got exempted as well.  Nonetheless, Frenel was a truly heroic young man who fought the international courts and won and as such became the first ever under 18 registered superhero.

Recently, Frenel started taking the lead on rescue missions from his parents, allowing them some much deserved 'me' time.  He thusfar has operated with impressive results, but the weight of responsibility in beginning to intensity more each day. His desire to be good enough that one day, he can take over and lead the family superhero and life-saving business that is the 'Firebirds' and 'Firebird, Inc.', respectively.

Today, Frenel, as 'Fireblaze', continues to be the Assistant Operations Officer (AOO) for Firebirds, Inc. In his role as a superhero, he has been involved in several super-villain battles and fights against criminal organizations and cartels, while also, as of 2020, has been responsible for performing and/or leading over 60 successful emergency response and life-saving missions for the family and the company.  He is highly respected by his family and the people in the business. He gets a lot of requests for the media, movies and celebrity time, however, he weighs his participation in social events against work, responsibilities and family, placing them above his 'social status'. He is a HIGHLY sought-after young man by many a gold-digger of a woman (or man), however, Frenel is quite picky to who is his friend, especially when its a girlfriends. He's had several relations, but none got farther than 6 months in time together before they'd mutually decide to move on. He is charismatic in a professional way, but he also has a bit of a boyish charm about him still.  He is academically smart and a good judge of character and has little patience for those that don't work hard or help others.  Altogether, Frenel is one well-adjusted, amazing young superhero who has a brilliant future set out before him...that is, as long as the world continues to see him for the amazing person that he is.

Power Origin: Mutant

  • Fire Control/Manipulation

    • Has the remarkable ability to control and manipulate fire.

    • Can start fires and extinguish fires, as well as adjust the thermal/heat intensity up to his power rank's abilities.

    • Can create fire so long as oxygen is available; creates fuel and heat using powers

    • Can move, funnel, divert and even create basic images with fire, but only within a 30 foot range

  • Fire Blast

    • Can fire fireballs/blasts from his hands causing excellent temperate/energy/heat damage

    • Range: 200 yards max.

  • Fire Cages/Barriers

    • Can create cages and barriers effectually to the volume of 135 square feet of volume/space

    • Intensity (rank) of the fire cages/barriers is based on volume/size of the cage/barrier:

      • 1-30 foot square area=max intensity (remarkable)

      • 31-67 square foot area= excellent intensity

      • 68-100 square foot area=good intensity

      • 101-120 square foot area=typical intensity

      • 121-135 square foot area= poor intensity

      • >135 square feet = none

  • Resistances

    • Has amazing radiation resistance

    • Has incredible thermal, temperate and heat resistance

    • Has good resistance to all other forms of energy attacks

    • Has poor physical, toxic/toxin resistance

  • Flight

    • Can fly up to 200 mph and up to 10,000 feet max altitude

    • Loses 1/5 of speed and altitude for each additional 30 lbs of weight to carry/lift

  • Thermal Vision

    • Can see into normal and thermal vision; no night vision

  • Full Body Protective Suit

    • Provides good protection against physical, chemical and toxic/toxin attacks

    • Provides excellent energy protection

    • Provides incredible thermal protection

    • Provides amazing radiation protection

    • Rapid Cooling Function

      • Suit has a High Exponential BTU (HEBTU) system that rapidly drops the suit's temp to ambient in aprox. 5-7 seconds

  • Fire Suppression Grenades

    • Remarkable fire-suppressant foam grenades that can put out remarkable-level fires in a 30 foot radius.

    • Creates foam that can fill a volume of 60-feet wide x 20-feet high

    • These grenades have also been useful in combating fire-creatures/villains, suppressing oxygen to their fires and depowering said creatures/villains.

  • Electronics Suite

    • When opened, can provide encrypted visual digital audio/video two-way transmissions to aligned/configured tower, WiFi and/or satellite networks

    • Inset audio communications web transceiver with 25 mile range without tower/satellite access; unlimited with configured access

    • Provides close-in holographic, see-through imagery that can be projected within inches out in front of user's eyes for tactical, diagnostic and video visual interfaces

    • Short range (300 yards) sensors for diagnosing a person's vital signs, and environmental temperature, energy analysis, trace pathing/detection for many forms of wavelengths/frequencies and geolocational/GPS tracking and navigation

    • Headgear has incredible physical protection and amazing thermal/temperate/energy and EMP protection
