What began as an ambitious idea in New York City has grown into an international pet-hospitality company serving pet lovers around the world. From elegant dinners and private celebrations to elaborate weddings, birthday parties, holiday gatherings and catered events, Cathy's has transformed the idea of "taking your pet out" into something entirely different.

A Different Kind of Hospitality

Cathy's Pet Dining Experience was founded by Catherine "Cathy" Suljic, whose lifelong affinity for animals, knowledge of pet behavior and fascination with fine food and hospitality came together during the rebuilding years that followed the Soltan Invasion.

As communities recovered and families began rebuilding their lives, Cathy recognized something that was often overlooked: pets had endured those difficult years alongside their human families. They were companions, protectors, sources of comfort and, in many cases, cherished members of families that had already lost far too much.

​

Cathy envisioned a business where those animals would not merely be permitted—they would be the guests of honor.

That vision became Cathy's Pet Dining Experience.

From its New York beginnings, the company developed an entirely new style of hospitality combining professional food service, animal care, specialized nutrition, event planning and entertainment. What might have sounded eccentric at first quickly attracted pet owners looking for something memorable, and Cathy's reputation grew from a local novelty into an internationally recognized luxury pet-experience brand.

Today, approximately 100 Cathy's Pet Dining Experience locations worldwide welcome animals and the people who love them.

Dining Designed Around the Guest

No two animals are exactly alike, and neither are their nutritional needs.

Cathy's professional pet chefs prepare meals with each guest's species, dietary requirements, preferences and restrictions in mind. Our teams work to create food that is both appealing and appropriate while maintaining the presentation and attention to detail expected from a premium dining experience.

And the humans aren't forgotten.

Many Cathy's locations and event packages allow family members and friends to dine alongside their pets, turning dinner into a shared social occasion rather than simply another feeding time.

For guests who prefer to give their companions a little independence, select experiences can also be viewed remotely, allowing owners to watch the festivities without interrupting the fun.
