HISTORY

History

CANIS Omegas are the shock troops to each CANIS Pack and Enforcement Structure.  Each Omega team works for CANIS MAJOR and/or CANIS Pack (Epsilon) Leaders. Omegas are a fear weapon used to ensure loyalty, invoke massive destruction, or used to engage in saving a major heist or combating superheroes.  They are ruthless and would easily kill an innocent child as breathe air.

Omegas have unique weapons, armoring and also contain self-destruct and remote-destruct explosives in the event they get captured or compromised. They have a great teamwork system and are very adept in tactics and strategy. Planning and distraction techniques are key to their survival (for example, they'd rather create a fire in a crowded apartment building to cover their escape of a CANIS teams with their ill-gotten gains).

There are four major categories within the Omega structure (each of which is used as needed or requested):

​

  • MILITANT (M). Mercenaries, ex-military, ex-police, fanatic killers. They are professionals with rifles, explosives, military training and leadership.

  • STEALTH/SUPPRESSION (SS). Ex-Spec Ops personnel that can quietly go in and set explosives, bombs, plant evidence, steal evidence or set traps. Same skills as above plus stealth, communications and turret weapons.

  • RIOT-MAKERS (RMs). Thug-based masterminds that lead paid mobs into planned violent and destructive actions. Numbers and anger are their weapon.

  • AUTOMOTONS (A). Led by a human operator who commands robots to perform direct killing attacks. Skills include those listed for Militant above plus robotics, engineering, communications and weapons knowledge.

Omegas are expected to be mean, condescending and generate fear.  Leadership is a plus, but military and scorched earth tactics go more towards an Omega's better skills.

    • Can be activated by timer, remotely or upon contact​

    • Creates a fantastic-level explosion, affecting immediate area and all adjacent areas outward

  • GRENADES (10)

    • Remarkable toxic, smoke, explosive, frag grenades

  • WEAPONS

    • Various rifle and/or hand-held guns with energy power packs (Remarkable energy damage)

    • 20 shots per power pack

    • Carries 10 power packs

  • SELF-DESTRUCT/REMOTE-DESTRUCT EXPLOSIVE DEVICE​

    • When activated either by armor wearer or remotely, the armor provides a 5-second countdown until it explodes​

    • Creates an amazing level explosion for the inside out with an incredible magnesium incendiary follow-up, burning the armor and the armor bearer into ash in seconds.

    • Generates an incredible invisibility field affecting normal, heat, thermal, infra-red, ultra-violet, night and x-ray frequencies

    • Can only be maintained for 20 minutes before power supply is drained ​

    • Energy sensors of remarkable or greater levels have been able to detect minute energy blisters for mere micro-seconds as a result of the power output of the field, however, this only provides a proportionate level of detection vs. the quality of the sensors.

  • SUPPRESSION TURRETS (2)​

    • Ground-mountable​, deployable turrets

    • When activated, they will perform amazing high speed and accurate energy blast suppression fire (stun/slam)

    • Excellent energy blasts in a 360-degree coverage

    • Operates for 1 minute each before power is depleted

    • After turrets are depleted, they melt with amazing incendiary devices, leaving metal slag as remnants in seconds
