In Texas, there's an army of street gangs that operate within the state. Each street gang is a gang made up of kids, teenagers and/or young adults not to exceed 50 members; more than 50 members constitutes its own entry under "Gangs".

The following is a list of known street gangs in the San Antonio, Texas region in the MDU (and are not reflective, representative, nor associative of any existing or defunct gangs in the real world in any respective manner)​.
Crimson Rainbows

Brief Description:
The Crimson Rainbows are a dynamic nightlife- and arts-scene controlling gang, built around clubs, music spaces, event culture, fashion, murals, performance spaces, and social visibility.
They are stylish, artsy, and highly social — but absolutely criminal. Their power comes from influence over who gets in, who gets shut out, who performs, who gets protected, which venues stay open, and which scenes pay up. They thrive on nightlife control, event extortion, theft, stolen luxury goods, artist-scene leverage, and using crowded social spaces as cover for gang operations.
Their identity is not just “colorful” — it is deliberately theatrical, curated, and commanding. Members project creative individuality while still clearly belonging to the same gang. In a city with nightlife, festivals, and tourism, the Crimson Rainbows know that attention itself can be a weapon.

Brief Description:
The Fishmungers are a rough, working-class market and loading-dock gang rooted in San Antonio’s wholesale, restaurant-supply, and food-distribution economy.
The name began as an insult toward an early crew operating around seafood and food-delivery districts. They adopted it, hardened it, and turned it into an identity built around grime, labor, resilience, and refusal to be embarrassed by where they come from.
Their operations include stolen food shipments, warehouse theft, loading-dock intimidation, restaurant protection, delivery interception, resale schemes, and extracting money from small businesses operating within their sphere.

Brief Description:
The Mission Kings are one of San Antonio’s strongest neighborhood-identity gangs, rooted in South Side communities where family, history, old streets, and long-standing territorial pride still matter deeply.
They view themselves as inheritors and protectors of neighborhoods that existed before tourism branding, redevelopment pressure, and image-conscious city reinvention began changing the city around them.
Their criminal activity includes protection, extortion, robbery, vehicle theft, neighborhood black-market trade, and deciding who is permitted to operate within areas they consider theirs.
Their symbolism draws from San Antonio’s mission architecture and long neighborhood memory, but without claiming real religious authority. The “Kings” title reflects territorial rank, pride, and hierarchy.
Priests of Pain

Brief Description:
The Priests of Pain are one of San Antonio’s most physically intimidating and visually unsettling street gangs. They are built around a dark ritual-religious aesthetic, using imagery of confession, penance, judgment, suffering, and punishment to create fear and psychological pressure.
They are not an actual religious order, and they do not wear robes. Their look is fully street-gang based — aggressive, grounded, and physically threatening — but deliberately shaped by severe ritual symbolism. Their members want rivals to feel as though they are being judged before violence even starts.
The gang grew from bouncers, enforcers, metal-scene hardcases, tattoo-culture figures, former security workers, and street muscle who turned punishment into identity. They are frequently used for intimidation, debt collection, nightclub enforcement, robbery, and hired muscle.
Tekhouz Sramblaz

Brief Description:
The Tekhouz Sramblaz are San Antonio’s younger, high-energy electronics and street-tech gang. Their strange name evolved from warped street slang for “tech-house scramblers,” eventually becoming a tag that sounds confusing to outsiders but natural to the gang itself.
They specialize in stolen electronics, modified scooters and e-bikes, car-audio systems, drones, hacked street-level tech, surveillance devices, communications equipment, counterfeit components, and fast-turnaround resale of stripped or upgraded hardware.
Unlike Houston’s China Syndrome, Tekhouz Sramblaz is less about major infrastructure sabotage and more about street-level tech theft, modification, improvisation, and resale culture.
