Street Gangs of NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
In Northern California's region, there are a handful of street gangs that operate within the region. A street gang is a gang usually made up of children, teenagers and/or young adults not to exceed 50 gang members; more than 50 members constitutes its own entry under "Gangs".

The following is a list of known street gangs in the Northern California region in the MDU. These street gangs are not reflective, representative, nor associated to any existing or defunct gangs in the real world in any respective manner.
Ghost Homestead
Leader: Mara “Squatter” Kincaid
Number of Members: 24
Location/Territory: Remote cabins, seasonal residences, abandoned ranch properties, forest-edge communities, isolated vacation homes, mountain compounds, and sparsely populated rural roads
Allies: Rural fences, transient criminals, stolen-property brokers, dishonest property workers, and select off-grid contacts
Enemies: Property owners, sheriff’s departments, private security companies, neighborhood watch groups, utility crews, and rival squatters
Weapons of Choice: Heavy flashlights, axes, pry bars, compact batons, utility knives, and firearms
Brief Description: Ghost Homestead specializes in identifying isolated or temporarily vacant properties and turning them into temporary gang territory. Members occupy remote homes, cabins, ranch buildings, and seasonal residences as safehouses, storage locations, chop sites, and staging areas, sometimes remaining for weeks or months before disappearing. They frequently strip properties of valuables, vehicles, equipment, and supplies before moving on. Their appearance favors mismatched outdoor workwear, hunting-style jackets, dark earth tones, gray, olive, faded brown, and black, with stolen pickups, utility trailers, ATVs, generators, and scavenged rural gear.
Harvest Saints
Leader: Elena “Breadline” Navarro

Location/Territory: Agricultural communities, produce routes, packing facilities, farm roads, storage yards, distribution points, and rural market corridors across Northern California
Allies: Sympathetic farmworkers, struggling families, independent food cooperatives, rogue truckers, and black-market produce brokers
Enemies: Agricultural authorities, private security firms, food-distribution corporations, rival cargo thieves, and law enforcement agencies attempting to stop their raids
Weapons of Choice: Heavy farm tools, compact batons, utility knives, chains, flare devices, and firearms among hardened members
Brief Description: Harvest Saints began as a loosely organized group stealing surplus food and redistributing it to poor families and struggling communities. Over time, their methods became increasingly criminal and confrontational. They now hijack produce shipments, raid storage facilities, interfere with agricultural enforcement, and force what they consider “unjust” distributors to surrender food. Some communities treat them as folk heroes; others see them as dangerous extremists hiding behind charity. Their look combines faded denim, field green, harvest gold, rust red, cream, and dust brown with work shirts, gloves, boots, scarves, pickup trucks, and agricultural equipment.
Northstar Supply
Leader: Selena “Waypoint” Cruz

Location/Territory: Interstate and rural highway corridors, agricultural routes, logging roads, warehouse outskirts, mountain crossings, isolated storage sites, and Northern California connections extending toward Oregon and the Central Valley
Allies: Independent couriers, rural stash-house operators, truckers, warehouse contacts, small-time smugglers, and select agricultural transport workers
Enemies: Rival drug networks, narcotics investigators, highway enforcement units, thieves targeting shipments, and crews attempting to seize distribution routes
Weapons of Choice: Compact batons, heavy flashlights, utility knives, stun devices, and concealed firearms
Brief Description: Northstar Supply is Northern California’s hard-traveling rural distribution gang. Unlike sleek urban brokerage crews, Northstar specializes in physical logistics: hidden depots, long-distance runs, back-road exchanges, rural storage, and moving drugs and other contraband through sparsely monitored corridors. Their vehicles range from pickups and utility vans to older SUVs, trailers, and off-road equipment chosen to blend into the region. Their colors are deep navy, cold white, pine green, black, and reflective silver, with directional-star and route-marker motifs.
Racer Ex Machina
Leader: Adrian “Redline” Serrano
Number of Members: 28
Location/Territory: Redding, Chico, mountain highways, logging roads, rural connectors, off-road recreation zones, and snow-country routes extending toward the Sierra and Oregon approaches
Allies: Independent mechanics, off-road riders, salvage contacts, rural vehicle thieves, select tow operators, and underground racing circles
Enemies: Rival vehicle crews, law enforcement traffic units, recovery companies, recreational vehicle owners, and crews attempting to use their routes without permission
Weapons of Choice: Tire irons, breaker bars, heavy flashlights, compact batons, utility knives, and firearms among senior members
Brief Description: Racer Ex Machina is a machine-obsessed Northern California gang built around speed, stolen vehicles, mountain roads, and mechanical skill. Members steal performance cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, and specialized recreation vehicles, modifying many for use on rural routes where conventional pursuit is difficult. Their visual identity combines graphite, metallic red, ice blue, black, and reflective silver with lightweight riding gear, technical jackets, racing gloves, goggles, and machine-inspired insignias.
Stars & Stripes Crew
Leader: Grant “Banner” Hollis
Number of Members: 25
Location/Territory: Small-town commercial districts, truck stops, rural neighborhoods, roadside bars, county-fair circuits, and fringe communities across Northern California
Allies: Select local toughs, independent truckers, sympathetic business owners, fringe nationalist groups, and criminal contacts who share their worldview
Enemies: Immigrant communities, rival ethnic gangs, activists, multicultural organizations, law enforcement, and other groups they label “un-American”
Weapons of Choice: Heavy flashlights, chains, compact batons, utility knives, tire irons, and firearms among senior members
Brief Description: Stars & Stripes Crew is a volatile
ultranationalist street gang that wraps intimidation, harassment, and criminal behavior in aggressive patriotic rhetoric.
They are not a formal militia and lack the discipline or structure of organized paramilitary groups; instead, they operate as a rough, reactive street crew prone to provoking conflicts with people and communities they view as culturally or politically disloyal.
Their colors are faded red, navy, off-white, denim blue, and black, with workwear, trucker caps, varsity jackets, customized pickups, and distorted patriotic motifs used as gang branding.
Timberline Predators
Leader: Cole “Deadfall” Rourke
Number of Members: 22
Location/Territory: Remote trailheads, campgrounds, forest roads, mountain communities, isolated recreation areas, national-forest-adjacent corridors, and wilderness access points
Allies: Rogue guides, dishonest outfitters, stolen-goods fences, transient criminals, and isolated rural contacts
Enemies: Rangers, local law enforcement, search-and-rescue personnel, rival wilderness crews, and communities resisting their presence
Weapons of Choice: Heavy flashlights, hatchets, compact batons, hunting knives, climbing tools, and firearms
Brief Description: Timberline Predators exploit the isolation of Northern California’s wilderness. They target travelers, trail users, campers, remote cabins, parked vehicles, and lightly protected recreational areas where response times are slow and witnesses are scarce. The gang’s strength lies in knowing back roads, dead zones, logging routes, abandoned access points, and terrain others overlook. Their appearance uses charcoal, forest green, rust brown, warning orange, and faded gray with technical hiking gear, layered outdoor clothing, rugged packs, headlamps, radios, and stolen 4x4s.
