In New York City's Brooklyn borough, there are a handful of street gangs operate within. A street gang is a gang made up of children, teenagers and/or young adults not to exceed 50 gang members; more than 50 members constitutes its own entry under "Gangs".

The following is a list of known street gangs in the Brooklyn borough of New York City, New York in the MDU (and are not reflective, representative, nor associative of any existing or defunct gangs in the real world in any respective manner)
10 CROSS
Gang Leader: Dominic “Tenfold” Cruz
Number of Members: 21
Location/Territory: Red Hook, Carroll Gardens backstreets, and freight routes along the Gowanus edge
Gang Allies: Wharfmongers, Brooklyn Dock Gang, and selected cargo fences
Gang Enemies: Justice Knights, Red Shanks, and NYPD harbor and cargo units

Gang Description:
10 Cross is a compact but feared cargo-theft and extortion crew operating through Brooklyn’s industrial freight corridors. Members wear black and dark-red dockside streetwear marked with a distinctive ten-point cross insignia. Tenfold Cruz runs the gang as a disciplined street fraternity built on silence, loyalty, and swift retaliation. Their operations include hijacking, warehouse theft, protection rackets, and the movement of stolen goods through waterfront contacts.
25TH STREET

Gang Description:
25th Street is a territorial neighborhood gang whose identity is tied closely to its Sunset Park corridor. Members favor practical work jackets, hoodies, numbered patches, and muted colors suited to industrial streets. Quarterblock Velez emphasizes control of territory over flashy reputation, using protection rackets, robbery, black-market storage, and local narcotics sales to maintain influence. The gang’s strength comes from its familiarity with every business, alley, and service route within its claimed blocks.
BROOKLYN DOCK GANG
Gang Leader: Peter “Ropes” Danvers

Location/Territory: Brooklyn waterfronts, container yards, piers, and warehouse rows from Red Hook to Sunset Park

Gang Description:
The Brooklyn Dock Gang is one of the borough’s most established waterfront crews. Its members are drawn from freight handlers, dock laborers, warehouse workers, and cargo thieves who know the movement of goods better than most investigators. Ropes Danvers uses old labor relationships and shipping knowledge to support cargo theft, smuggling, protection rackets, and waterfront intimidation. Their worn coats, knit caps, gloves, ropes, and industrial gear allow them to blend easily into legitimate dock activity.
DYKER DEMONS

The Dyker Demons are a stylish but dangerous neighborhood gang rooted in old Brooklyn street culture. Members wear fitted coats, leather jackets, dark shirts, gold jewelry, and devil-horn insignias that reinforce their cultivated image. Salvo Nacceri keeps the gang profitable through loan-sharking, gambling enforcement, nightlife protection, and intimidation. Their polished appearance masks a ruthless willingness to punish anyone who challenges their reputation or interferes with their business.
GANGSTA BROOKS

Gangsta Brooks is a large and openly aggressive Brooklyn street gang known for its numbers, territorial pride, and visible blue-and-black identity. Its members are involved in narcotics, weapons trafficking, intimidation, and neighborhood enforcement. T-Brooks promotes the gang as a symbol of raw borough power and expects immediate retaliation against rivals. Their strong recruitment base and ability to mobilize large groups make them one of Brooklyn’s most prominent street organizations.
GRAVESEND GHOULS
Gang Leader: Vincent “Pale Vin” Moretti

Location/Territory: Gravesend, cemetery-adjacent blocks, abandoned storefronts, and dim side streets

Gang Description:
The Gravesend Ghouls use fear, rumor, and carefully staged appearances to control their territory. Members wear long dark coats, pale makeup, cemetery-inspired symbols, and muted green accents that give them an unsettling presence at night. Although they possess no confirmed supernatural abilities, they encourage stories that suggest otherwise. Pale Vin directs burglary rings, intimidation jobs, and night-based territorial crimes that exploit Gravesend’s older architecture and cemetery atmosphere.
JUSTICE KNIGHTS

Gang Description:
The Justice Knights present themselves as protectors of Brooklyn neighborhoods, but they operate as a vigilante gang imposing their own version of law and order. Members wear disciplined blue, white, and steel-gray uniforms with shield and knight insignias. Sir Justice Keene directs patrols, raids, and enforcement actions against criminals while also extorting local businesses for protection. Their organized appearance and moral rhetoric attract supporters, even as their methods become increasingly authoritarian.
RED SHANKS

Gang Description:
The Red Shanks are a blade-centered waterfront gang known for close-range intimidation, debt collection, and territorial retaliation. Members wear dark peacoats, heavy work boots, red scarves, and visible knife sheaths that form part of their identity. Shank Red Doyle has built the crew’s reputation around direct personal confrontation and the threat of edged weapons. They use firearms when necessary, but their feared status comes from a willingness to settle disputes at arm’s length.
SOLTAN KILL CREW

Location/Territory: Flatbush, East Flatbush, and scattered veteran-heavy apartment zones
Gang Allies: Gangsta Brooks, 25th Street, and selected black-market war-surplus dealers

Gang Description:
The Soltan Kill Crew was formed by survivors and veterans hardened by the Soltan Invasion and its aftermath. Initially organized as a violent anti-Soltan revenge group, the crew evolved into a militant street gang involved in weapons dealing, enforcement, and territorial crime. Members wear olive-drab surplus gear, black tactical clothing, burnt-orange identifiers, and invasion-era patches. Killswitch Boone treats every conflict as a military operation and maintains strict discipline throughout the gang.
WHARFMONGERS
Gang Leader: Elias “Monger” Pike

Location/Territory: Piers, fish markets, ferry approaches, and industrial waterfront lanes
Gang Allies: Brooklyn Dock Gang, 10 Cross, and selected smugglers
Gang Enemies: Red Shanks, Justice Knights, and harbor police

Gang Description:
The Wharfmongers operate where legitimate fish-market labor and Brooklyn’s waterfront black market overlap. Members wear waterproof coats, rubber boots, heavy aprons, knit caps, and practical dock gear that allows them to blend into daily harbor activity. Monger Pike directs contraband transfers, cargo skimming, vendor intimidation, and smuggling support. Their strength lies in appearing to be ordinary workers until a shipment, payment, or rival needs to disappear.
