In Atlanta, Georgia in the MDU, there are a handful of areas which street gangs operate from. A street gang is defined as a gang made up of children, teenagers and/or young adults not to exceed 50 gang members; more than 50 members constitutes its own entry under "Gangs".

BELTLINE WRECKERS

Brief Description
The Beltline Wreckers exist because Atlanta continually rebuilds itself.
​
They operate in neighborhoods where abandoned warehouses become apartments, industrial buildings become entertainment venues, empty lots become construction sites, and previously neglected streets suddenly contain bicycles, scooters, deliveries, tourists, upscale residents, and expensive equipment. The Wreckers exploit that transition.
​
Their economy includes construction-site theft, contractor-tool theft, building-material theft, package theft, bicycle and scooter theft, mixed-use property burglary, stolen appliances, equipment fencing, and predatory street crime around rapidly redeveloping districts. They also monitor properties scheduled for demolition or redevelopment, scavenging valuable material before legitimate crews arrive.

Brief Description
The Interchange Kings are built around one of Atlanta’s defining realities: almost everything moves through the city.
They recruit drivers, mechanics, tow operators, warehouse laborers, freight handlers, couriers, truck-service workers, and criminals who know the metro highway system well enough to treat traffic patterns themselves as infrastructure.
Their specialty is not merely stealing cargo from warehouses. It is intercepting valuable property while it is moving between locations.
Their economy includes truck and trailer theft, targeted cargo interception, freight burglary, stolen fleet vehicles, illegal courier jobs, warehouse-to-highway diversion, vehicle boosting, and rapid redistribution of stolen commercial property around the Atlanta metro area.
This distinguishes them from more stationary freight gangs elsewhere in the MDU.
PEACHTREE VIPERS

Brief Description
The Peachtree Vipers are Atlanta’s polished nightlife-and-luxury street gang.
​
They operate inside the ecosystems surrounding clubs, lounges, upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, rooftop venues, private parties, apartment towers, entertainment events, and valet operations. Their members understand that Atlanta’s high-end nightlife generates enormous amounts of cash, status, jewelry, vehicles, designer merchandise, and private information every night.

Their criminal economy includes club protection, luxury-theft setups, designer-goods theft, valet and access fraud, private-party robbery schemes, promoter intimidation, upscale extortion, and exploiting wealthy nightlife patrons.
​
The Vipers cultivate visibility. They want to look expensive, dangerous, and socially connected.
SETBREAKERS

Brief Description
The Setbreakers arose from Atlanta’s massive film and television support economy.
​
Members include former production assistants, set builders, drivers, equipment handlers, security personnel, lighting technicians, warehouse laborers, freelancers, and criminals who discovered that film productions routinely assemble enormous concentrations of expensive equipment in temporary locations.
​
They specialize in production-equipment theft, fraudulent crew credentials, studio-service extortion, wardrobe and prop theft, vehicle burglary at shooting locations, insider-access schemes, equipment diversion, and theft from temporary production compounds.
​
Their expertise lies in understanding how legitimate production crews function. A Setbreaker with the right clothes, clipboard, radio, badge, or vehicle may look exactly like somebody who belongs there.
WIREFRAME CREW

Location / Territory: Midtown, Tech Square, downtown startup corridors, co-working districts, student-heavy housing zones, electronics-repair areas, convention hotels, and technology-oriented commercial blocks

Brief Description
The Wireframe Crew operates where street theft intersects with modern technology.
​
They recruit technically skilled hustlers, device repair workers, fraud specialists, programmers, electronics resellers, social engineers, and criminals comfortable moving between physical theft and digital exploitation.
​
Their criminal economy includes smartphone and laptop theft, account takeover, payment-card fraud, device cloning, identity theft, access-card schemes, digital skimming, fraudulent online resale, crypto-related theft, and extracting usable digital information from stolen physical devices.
​
The important distinction is that they are still a street gang, not a remote hacker organization. Their digital crimes begin and end in the physical world: stolen phones, cloned badges, compromised terminals, intercepted packages, fraudulent pickups, and face-to-face scams.
