History

History

Fiera, a 14th century woman who was repeatedly abused by men, finally took up with a magical cult of women called the Arcane Sisterhood.  Together, they read, studied and practiced multiple schools of magic.  She, herself, loved mixing arcane and nature Magic, especially fire.

After decades of training in her magics, Fiera created her own 'Sisterhood of the Flame'.  Hundreds of her disciples leaned how to use fire magic and were soon hunted not only by men...but by their once-benevolent benefactor, The Conglomerate and its band of warriors of that era, the Knights Arcanus.  By 1589, nearly all of the Sisterhood of the Flame were either slain or transmutated into inanimate objects for the rest of that inanimate object's existence or killed by that era's human population deeming Fiera and her ilk as witches, burning them at stakes and/or killing them outright.

Fiera was eventually hunted and magically transmutated into a large stone at the bottom of a lake in the kingdom once known as Aragon (now Spain) in 1560, but was awakened from her magical inanimate prison by a fellow witch of the sisterhood who'd survived, named Malconna, in the 21st century.

Today, Fiera is allied with what's left of the Arcane Sisterhood, vowing vengeance against the Knights Arcanus, the Conglomerate, human men and...well, anyone she doesn't like (including some of her own sisters in the sisterhood!).  She is trying to rebuild her own Sisterhood of the Flame, but Malconna, the Sisterhood's current leader, continues to 'dissuade' Fiera to 'recruit later, not now'. As such, Fiera barely contains her disdain as she continues to wait to reform her own cult once again.

  • Arcane Sisterhood Inherent State

    • As a result of being transmuted into an inanimate object for hundreds of years, their physical bodies are disfigures, patched with dead/damaged skin, have magical energy tears in their skin and unhealable skin discolorations.

    • Side effects of this transmutation makes each sister have the following:

      • Excellent prevention of magical detection

      • Poor physical body armor versus magical, physical, energy, toxic/toxin, temperate and radiation damage

      • Radiant energy 'tears' in their skin that glow a feeble glow

      • Reduced physical attributes (movement, agility, fighting) due to new inherent body state

      • Nigh vision at good level

  • Arcane Bolts (Arcane)

    • Can emit good magical bolts up to 100 yards in distance

  • Fire Bolts (Nature)​

    • Good energy/temperate/magic fire damage​

    • Range 100 yards

  • Fiery Aura (Arcane/Nature)​

    • Good protection versus all forms of damage except mental/psionic​

  • Flight​

    • Using her fiery wings and thermal-based powers, she can attain good flight speed​

    • Can fly up to 1,000 feet without issue

    • No max distance/range for flight
