History
Malconna is an ancient arcane witch who originally was a member of the Conglomerate secretive magical society. A few hundred years ago, she and her 'Arcane Sisterhood' gathered hundreds of powerful magical women from across all schools of magic and attempted to usurp man's dominance on the world. That age's "Knights Arcanus" not only thwarted the sisters, but ensorcelled and transmuted them into inanimate objects, of which most of the sisters have been imprisoned as for the last few hundreds of years.
Thanks to the Soltan Invasion of Earth and the immeasurable cascade of arcane and magical energy that washed across Earth in the invasion's wake, the old prison objects became weak and loosed the Sisters once again on humanity.
On Halloween 2016, the sisters attempted revenge on the Knights Arcanus, only for the sisters to be decimated.
Today, a wounded and weakened Malconna leads what's left of the Arcane Sisterhood. She's discovered dark magic tomes and since her 'resurrection', she's become one of the few that can use death magic.

As a result of being transmuted into an inanimate object for hundreds of years, their physical bodies are disfigures, patched with dead/damaged skin, have magical energy tears in their skin and unhealable skin discolorations.

After 12 minutes, she can 'reanimate' the bodies as zombies that she can control (necromancy); cannot resurrect a being back to 'life' after that being has been dead for more than 12 minutes time

If a body is undead (vampire), she can 'un-resurrect' them, causing them to decay/die at a good rate with focused thought and effort, causing the 'undead' being to lose 10% of its health every several seconds, so long as it is within 100 feet range
