DESCRIPTIONS
ALPHA
CANIS Alphas are the leaders to each CANIS Region's Enforcement Structure. Each Alpha works for CANIS MAJOR. Alphas enact as directors and executive leaders in each CANIS region. They carry out Canis Major's orders as well as provide the authority (and responsibility) for anything in or related to the Enforcement structure of CANIS for that region. . Most are promoted from being previous CANIS, Betas or Deltas.

Alphas are known to be ruthless. They are rarely seen in the field in armor, but instead in business suits in regional CANIS HQs. They have overall and full power in regional CANIS discipline and killings, so long as it is keeping with the CANIS guidelines or order. This also includes punishment to regional CANIS Business structure leaders and personnel as well.
​
Alphas are expected to be mean, condescending and generate fear in their region. Leadership is a plus, but fear generation, control and manipulation go more towards an Alpha's better skills.

BETA
CANIS Beta is the deputy leader of CANIS Enforcement Structure. Beta works with Alpha. The Beta position is a stepping stone for promotion to CANIS Alpha.

On occasion, a Beta has also been a secretive Emissary, spying on Alpha, discovering disloyalty or theft from CANIS, usually resulting in the removal (disposal) of said Alpha and the 'Beta Emissary' becoming the new Alpha.
​
Beta is expected to be a tough disciplinarian, acting much like an Executive Officer, executing the orders of the Alpha and the Big Dog leaders.

DELTAS
CANIS Deltas are the regional leaders of each CANIS Enforcement Structure. There are 17 Deltas normally, one for each CANIS Region. A Delta position is a highly competitive stepping stone for promotion to being the CANIS Beta.

Deltas have their regional deputy leaders, CANIS Gammas, run the day-to-day regional operations. Deltas get their orders from either CANIS Alpha or Beta.
​
Deltas are expected to be resourceful, organized and in touch withe needs of the region's business structure and operations. They coordinate and cooperate withe the Business Structure, however, cannot act upon any regional matters unless going through Alpha and/or Beta first.
GAMMAS
CANIS Gammas are the regional deputy leaders of each CANIS Enforcement Structure. There are 17 Gammas normally, one for each CANIS Region. A Gamma position is a stepping stone for promotion to being a CANIS Delta.

Gammas run the day-to-day regional operations. Gammas get their orders from CANIS Deltas.

Gammas are expected to be expedient, organized and disciplinarians in touch withe needs of the region's business structure and operations. They execute their CANIS Delta's orders and support their regional Business Structure, however, they cannot act upon any regional matters unless going through Delta first.
EPSILONS
CANIS Epsilons are the pack base leaders in the CANIS Enforcement Structure. There are about 325 Epsilons, one for each CANIS Pack base. Epsilon positions are highly competitive stepping stone for promotion to becoming a CANIS Gamma.

Epsilons have their pack base deputy leaders, CANIS Zetas, run the day-to-day pack base operations. Epsilons get their orders from either CANIS Deltas or Gammas and are allowed to coordinate and support Business structure Tribunes directly.
​
Epsilons are militant, good leaders, charismatic, resourceful, organized and in touch withe needs of the pack/area's business structure and operations. They coordinate and cooperate withe the Business Structure.
​
Epsilons have more freedom to make decisions, however, at a cost. Bad decisions mean death if the upper leadership is not happy with you.
This position seems to have a high turnover rate.
ZETAS
CANIS Zetas are the pack base deputy leaders in the CANIS Enforcement Structure. There are about 325 Zetas, one for each CANIS Pack base. Zeta positions are highly competitive stepping stone for promotion to becoming a CANIS Epsilon.

Zetas answer to their respective pack base leader, a CANIS Epsilon. The Zetas run the day-to-day pack base operations. Zetas get their orders from either CANIS Epsilons and are not allowed to coordinate with Business structure Tribunes directly (only the Epsilons can do that).

Zetas are militant, feisty, energetic, energized and fair leaders. They should learn to be in touch withe needs of the pack/area's business structure and operations.
​
Zetas have little freedom to make decisions. there are times when an aggressive Zeta has been acknowledged for a good independent decision or two (usually resulting in a promotion to being an Epsilon), but this is also a double-edged sword; if you bite the hand that feeds you, you most likely will be put down like a dog by their CANIS Epsilon.
This position seems to have a high turnover rate.
