HISTORY

History

A Native-American mutant who found a home with the Arachnoknights group, doing what he likes to do best - hunt and kill.

Quanah joined various other groups for employment, but disliked being treated like a third-rate mutant. At one point his employer demanded that Quanah use their drug, Oxygen Red, which was designed to heighten Quanah's already remarkable tracking and hunting prowess, however, it instead turned Quanah into a mindless murder machine. 

 

Quanah eventually stole their supply of what they called Oxygen Blue, which was the only drug to help put his mind back into order. 

 

As a result, Quanah killed his employer that forced the Oxygen Red on him.  

 

Quanah was hunted for years (and continues to be in some instances) and still to this day, has a mark out on him with Death Legion. The interesting this is, Quanah has instead turned out to be the true hunter, taking out every single soldier, thug and/or mercenary that has been sent out after him.

Recently, in a chance encounter, Lord Arachnid of the Arachnoknights came to Quanah's rescue and helped each other out with their own problems.  As such, Quanah decided, for now, he'd help out the Arachnoknights - the only ones that ever showed his any respect and equity.

Power Origin: Mutant (with Science once mixed in with Oxygen Red & Blue)

  • Heat Generation

    • Quanah can increase or decrease the heat in his body to excellent levels.

    • When increased, he can generate a fiery aura that can do good fire damage to anyone within 1 foot of him.

    • With several seconds of concentration, he can emit a fiery arc out from his body, performing good fire damage to anyone and anything within a 10 foot radius. Can only be done several times a day, if in perfect shape.

    • When decreased, he can make his own body's heat signature mesh into the same temperature as his surrounding environment, making him invisible to any thermal or heat sensors.

  • Blade Gauntlets w/ Heat Generation

    • When used with the energy blades (see equipment below), he can generate heat unto the energy blades thus allowing them to slice through materials up to remarkable strength (concrete, most stones, light steel).

​

  • Tracking/Environmental Awareness

    • Has an amazing sensory ability for hearing, taste, smell and sight, capable of detecting minute variations up to nearly a 1/2 mile away, or up to 8 miles away if downwind.

​

  • Enhance Human Capabilities

    • Strength and fighting levels are excellent

    • Endurance and agility levels are remarkable

    • Can run and/or swim up to 40 mph for over 30 minutes without tiring.

    • Energy blades that can cut through materials up to excellent levels.

    • When coupled with Quanah's Heat Generation, it can slice through materials up to remarkable levels (and cauterize biological cuts/slashes)

    • No longer routinely used; has 2 pills each for emergencies

    • When using Oxygen Red drugs, certain human capabilities are enhanced by an entire level

    • Psyche shuts down are requires an unearthly level of effort to reconnect Quanah's reason and psyche back to his body.

    • Reason drops to feeble levels; a killer instinct instead takes over.  Everything is a target.

    • Oxygen Red also removes nerve pain center responses, numbing body from feeling pain at incredible levels

    • Once Oxygen Red is taken, effects will start in 10 minutes and last for over 4 hours.

    • Oxygen Blue is used to bring Oxygen Red user back to baseline (takes 10 minutes to take affect)
