MAJOR DEEJ UNIVERSE

A very young student at one of the few and small Conglomerate magical society-run Charm schools located in Vlorë, Albania, Balloshe Rugova's world turned upside down when she was about 8 years old when the Soltan Star Empire decided to invade Earth.

Vlorë was a small concern for the Soltans simply because of the Charm school operating out of there. It was bombed into oblivion within a minute's time of the start of the invasion. Balloshe has been 'suspended' the day before for her doing a prank on one of her Charm school classmates and was not at the Charm school when it got bombed.  Regardless, squads of Soltans still landed in Vlorë and started hunting down and tracking anyone or anything magical, including place a large siphoning device atop the ley line that ran under the Charm school's bombed-out buildings.

Balloshe's parents, sadly, were in the Charm school, attempting to convince the headmaster to allow Balloshe back in school, when the school was bombed by the Soltans.

​

The Soltans tracked down and chased after Balloshe from her residence. Balloshe had the Soltans chasing her through the narrow streets and alleys of the city she grew up and played in.  After losing the Soltans chasing her for the fourth time, Balloshe knew they'd eventually find her again, thus she used some of the knowledge her parents had taught her about 'tricking' the Soltans into finding her.

Over the course of a week, Soltans trying to find Balloshe were led into lethal situations time and again; Balloshe would create illusions in the Soltans head's that they were running to catch Balloshe when instead they'd run off a cliff and into the waters far below, drowning. Other times, she'd superimpose her image onto another Soltan trooper, making them shoot each other dead.  This continued until finally the Soltans squads left and regrouped further inland. Belloshe was later found by a small band of martial artists who took her in and kept her safe up in the hills of the Fir of Drenova National Park.

For most of the the invasion, Balloshe stayed hidden with the Martial art teachers, learning basic martial arts from them as they survived off the land. One of the Martial Arts instructors was a very 'manly' person who acted more like a bully than a teacher. He was quick to slap or hit women more than men and belittled women a lot. At one point in her training, the 'man-bully' smacked Balloshe around, causing Balloshe to use her powers to cause him to see his worst nightmare...which was his well defined body being a fat blob of a man with sores sitting in his own pile of poo. The instructor nearly beat her to death for her actions, but was stopped by the sound of a Soltan scout craft that had picked up Balloshe's use of her magical powers.  The Martial Artists engaged the incoming Soltan squad, only to die a quick death. Just as Balloshe was about to be killed by the Soltans, a band of super-powered resistance fighters appeared and destroyed the Soltan squad, saving Balloshe.

One of the women in the resistance fighters group was a woman known as Selenyx.  She was a powerful user of light and dark energies and a leader of a cult-like group for women called the Sisterhood of Selene.  Balloshe took to her as a new surrogate mother and has, to this day, continued to fight with and for her.

​

Over the next two decades, Balloshe honed her powers and skills using remnants of books and tomes found in the debris of her old Charm school.  From those, she taught herself a variety of mind-based Charm spells, potions and illusory tricks.  She immediately joined Selenyx's Sisterhood of Selene and ensuingly, the later-formed Sisters of Selene super-powered group of the sisterhood.  Thanks to the sisterhood's women-centric teachings, Balloshe's disgust of men and their 'toxic masculinity' has only grown into hatred thanks to Selenyx's coaxings.

Today, "Apate", as she is now codenamed as, continues to be a member of the Sisterhood of Selene as well as a team member of the Sisters of Selene.  She loves Selenyx as a mother, however, Apate truly believes she is ready to take her hatred of men 'to the next level' and start using her powers indiscriminately against men...just because they deserve whatever happens to them. As such, Apate has become quite the firebrand in the sisters and the sisterhood.
