Condor Commander is the embodiment of East Germany anger and hate over the reunification of East and West Germany.

As the grandson of an East German Air Force General, he was witness to both his father's and grandfather's suicide when his both were told to turn himself in for their "STASI" involvements.  Michael ran away and hid, eventually joining an underground resistance to the new democratic Germany, demanding instead a new Socialist German Empire.

After years of plotting, stealing and building up, he created the "Condor Legion" - a small army of terrorists, rebels and ex-East German military men and women that obtained thousands of tons of old Soviet and NATO decommissioned equipment, as well as stole hundreds of modern weapons and plans for new cutting-edge weapons, even to include plans on how to build atomic weapons.

To that end, the "Condor Commander" took on an active role in attacks against Germany and Europe.  He and his troops have been  excommunicated and denounced from Europe forever, however, with the growing unrest in Europe these past several years, the Condor Legion's ranks have instead swelled with new ideological recruits ready to change Europe and Germany...for the better (according to them).

As leader of Condor Legion, Condor Commander is a dangerous villain to deal with.  He is not beyond nuking Western Germany just simply to 'get even' for their country's sublimation to reunification. He is wily, stealthy and is known for surprise attacks by land and air all the time.
