History

I-History

Hassan Yashid was a wealthy Mesopotamian prince of a small Arabic tribe in the late 1930s.  His father, Hatar Yashid, was a benevolent leader and a true warrior.  He'd fought dozens of battles and against raiders and assassins. During a few of these battles, the British Iraqforce troops would aid him and his tribe from the aggressors.  As such, Hatar came to respect the British as honorable people.  Together, they helped each out and even established trade for his tribe with several wealthy European traders, bringing prosperity to all under Hatar's tribe.

Hassan, since the age of seven, dreamed of going out on swashbuckling adventures, finding incredible hidden treasures in the desert and being a tribe leader and warrior like his father.  Although Hassan's father believed in the old ways, he allowed Hassan to go to Europe for a couple of years to learn their ways.  There, he also learned gymnastics, tumbling, wrestling and swordsmanship. By age 15, he was already an Olympic-level athlete, but had just missed out on attending the Berlin 1936 Olympics.

When Hassan returned home at age 17, he discovered that a rebellious movement was deep into shifting from British influence and were dabbling with Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany through embassies in the Jordan province and in Turkey.  This didn't bode well for the Yashids, as the raids and attacks began to increase on the tribe and the British troops were ordered from Mesopotamia and back to England unwillingly.

The few remaining British Army troops and severely outdated tanks and armored vehicles were barely able to fight against any form of organized attack or assault.  Yashid knew this and as such decided to ally with the older Mesopotamian government for the first time, even though he didn't like their corrupt ways.  Sadly, it didn't take long before the raiders learned of Yashid's decision, and with it, came death.

In 1940, Hamik and Jasar Yashid, Hassan's older brothers, while defending women and children in the nearby village from raiders, were killed by raiders who were now using their new Nazi rifles to cut down the Yashid tribe. Hassan's father was overwhelmed in grief and anger at the loss of 2 of his 3 sons and within minutes, rode out with all his fighters and decimated the raiders and their camp. Every raider had their throats slit and left for the buzzards to eat.  This, however, didn't appease either Hassan or his father. They both knew that the Nazis sent those guns to the raiders just to kill off any 'British-loving traitors as the Yashids where now being called..  As such, Hatar, trained with his last remaining son relentlessly, wherein both took the fight out to other assassin tribes and raiders, decimating them in turn. In 1941 however, when the Anglo-Iraq War occurred and with that, Hassan's discovery of his family's legendary status.

For nearly a month in May of 1941, the Axis-leaning coalition and the Allied-leaning government and supporters battled for control of what would one day be considered Iraq.  On the first day of the war, Hatar, Hassan's father, was severely wounded by a Nazi-supplied grenade.  Unable to lead his fighters, Hatar bequeathed leadership to Hassan...but not before he presented him with that which was to be his by birthright - the legendary  magical Ebony Scimitar, the Bracers of Protection and the Flying Carpet of Prince Husain.

Hatar told Hassan that he was a direct descendant of the original Arabian Knight from hundreds of years before and that he must now do what he (Hatar) couldn't do: use the legendary weapons and items to save their people from possible annihilation. He told Hassan he only used them once as a boy, but after falling off the carpet from on high (giving him a broken arm and leg) and shortly thereafter deeply cutting himself on the scimitar's blade (leaving a thick scar on his right torso), he decided to only use them as a true last resort.  Hassan promised his father he'd use them well and protect all that his father held dear.

Donning the bracers and taking up the sword like he'd owned it for years, he confidently jumped upon the Flying Carpet, as if he'd trained with it all his life (which, in his imagination and dreams, he did), and  He flew his father to a tribe healer and then flew to the Yashid camp to hundreds of aghast Yashid warriors.  Hassan explained that he was a descendant of the first true Arabian Knight and that, by Allah's will, they would be victorious against any and all that opposed them.

They fought like Arabian Knights of old.  The Axis-leaning forces, in less than a month, ran off and/or surrendered to Hassan, the Yashid forces , the British Army and even to the Royal Air Force. At month's end, the war was over, but sadly, dissent and Semitic attitudes created chaos in the streets of Baghdad.  They'd won the war, but the battle for the new nation's identity has just begun.

Hassan's exploits found their way to the press and within weeks of the end of the Anglo-Iraqi War, the 'Arabian Knight' became a new 20-century legend overnight.  Hatar, who was still recovering from his wounds, but was ready to jump back into action, tried to contain the strife that now existed across their new nation.  During this time, the British Ambassador to the new Iraq requested an audience with Hatar and Hassan.  In that meeting, the Ambassador requested Hassan's aid in what was now becoming World War II.  Britain was fighting for its life, and hoped that the Yashid clan would return the favor of the British helping out Iraq.  Before the ambassador could finish his soliloquies, Hassan accepted the offer, with his father's blessing.

Hassan fought with the British troops in North Africa, initially wounded in June 1941, but back into action to help push back Nazi General Rommel and his Panzer tanks out of Egypt by December 1941.  While preparing for his next operation with the British, Hassan was secretly flown to London, where he met, for the first time, Captain Invader and those who would eventually become the Allied Fighters.  When asked to join them, he readily agreed.

For the rest of World War II, he fought valiantly and bravely in every major theater of war with his new comrades. Although many deadly scenarios played out before him, and he cheated death time and again, he was always there for the team...until the Nazis put Hassan in check.

In 1945, Hassan was to fight with the Allied Fighters in Battle of Berlin, but just before they were to attack, Hassan received word that his father, Hatar, had been assassinated by the leader of the Nazi Axis Force supergroup, Baron Berlin himself.

Although Hassan wanted to finish off the Nazis more than anything, he instead left the Allied Fighters and went back home to Iraq. After his father's funeral, he decided to stay and help rebuild the nearly destroyed tribe he swore to his father that he'd protect.

After the war ended, Hassan was awarded some of the greatest honors and decorations every presented to a Muslim by the Western world, including the Congressional Medal of Honor from the United States.  U.S. President Harry Truman himself told Hassan that 'the world grieved with you at the loss of your father; his loss was the world's loss". As such, Hassan, or better known as the legendary Arabian Knight, was honored in song, festivals and story back in his homeland. Two years after the war's end, he married and raised a family, all while rebuilding his lands and people to a profitable, educated and honorable society.

Even though Arabia was in a tumultuous state, warring with Israel, Iran, the Soviets and so forth, Hassan continued to focus on his people and his responsibilities to family, much like his father had. He never used his magical weapons and objects again. Instead, he placed them in an ultra-secure nuclear explosion proof vault deep below his estate with a note for a 'designated heir' to read when the time was right.  He told the world that his Arabian Knight accoutrements were in 'Allah's hands' and the next Arabian Knight would be by 'Allah's will'.

Hassan Yashid passed away on New Years Day in 1980 shortly after Saddam Hussein took power in Iraq, months before the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988). At his death bed were his seven sons and daughters, 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren...and an old man named John Brown AKA Captain Invader AKA Major Invader. He told everyone present he'd lived the greatest adventure any man could be blessed with and that the buried treasure he'd dreamed of discovering in his youth was now all before him as his bedside at his end.  He died several minutes later.  His wife died six days after Hassan's death.  Sadly, months later, Iraq went to war with Iran.

No one other than those at his deathbed honored Hassan's passing or even remembered who he was.

Hassan never told anyone of the treasures that laid below the Yashid estate. Nothing was told in a will or as a legacy notification. Instead, the magical relics of the Arabian Knight remained lost to the world...that is, until 20 years to the day after Hassan's death.

History

II-History

In the year 2000, Saddam Hussein was still in charge of Iraq and was doing a proficient job of upsetting every nation around him.  He'd slaughtered thousands of Iraqi Kurds with his Revolutionary Guard and chemical weapons, creating terror across even his own lands.  In one such instance, the lands that had once belonged to the Yashid tribe had instead become a haven for the wounded and dying Kurds.  The once mighty Yashid clan had fallen after the many years of strife and war, leaving all that Hassan Yashid, the Arabian Knight of World War II, to nothing but ruins.  The Yashid clan had instead scattered to Jordan, Syria and even Kuwait to escape death, rape and torture.

Amidst the rubble of what was once the proud Yasid Estate, now characterized by several large craters in and about the grounds and building,  Hamik Yashid and his starved and homeless family, returned home.

Hamik and his family had been on the run since 1995 when he and his embattled family were bombed out of their Yashid estate by Suni terrorists, who promptly used their estate over the next couple years as a base of operations.  In early 1999, they'd been driven off the estate, but were now based only several miles further into the hills.  Hamik's father Masso Yashid, and his young sister, Jasmin Yashid, died in the initial attack on the estate.

Hamik's younger sister, Shara Yashid, along with his wife and son,  Hassan Jasar Yashid, escaped the raid on the estate and lived in and about other Iraqi towns and villages, always eluding capture and conscription into whatever militant force would most likely catch them first.  Sadly, Hamik's sister, Shara Yashid, was abducted one night in 1998 (she was found years later in 2015 in Syria as a slave-wife to a militant jihadist).  In 1998, Hamik's wife gave birth to their daughter, Terra Yashid. Destitute and starving, they continued to evade capture and death at every turn.

In late 1999, Hamik ran out of options.  There was no place left safe to go, other than a chance to try and rebuild the bombed out family estate.  On the evening of 1 January 2000, Hamik, his wife and son, starved and weary, finally arrived at the Yashid estate after a long, harrowing trek.  Looking around, there was hardly anything left of the estate...except one thing: a lit candle in the window of what was once the master bedroom.

Hamik grabbed a piece of burned wood for the estate's debris pile and motioned his family to behind a large bush.  Hamik then crept upon the candle's window, looking for who'd lit the only radiance in the absolute darkness of the estate.  In a rapid move, a man in a black military suit disarmed Hamik and put him in a headlock, demanding, in Arabic, 'How DARE you sully a hero's home! You have 3 seconds to tell me who you are! Three...', at which point Hassan Jasar left out from behind the bush and attacked the man in black with the ferocity of a lion, yelling 'Let him go! He has the blood of an Arabian Knight! He is Allah's gift to us all! STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!'.  The man in black was surprised by the ferocity of the attack and tossed Hamik free and clear of his grasp.  Out from the bush came Hamik's wife with a stick, side by side with Hassan Jasar and Hamik, all ready to attack the man in black should he make another move against them.

The man in black trained two pistols at the men and asked (again in Arabic), "Tell me your names or I'll drop you like yesterday's news!".  After a brief, yet awkward silence, Hamik stepped forward into the sites of the man in black's guns and said, "I am Hamik Yashid, grandson of the great Hassan Yashid, the legendary Arabian Knight of decades past.  Now drop your weapons and leave our home! Now!".

The man in black mumbled "Hamik...? Oh God...you're alive...".

The man in black then holstered his weapons and did something unexpected: he dropped to his knees before them with his hands in the air, feet crossed, and said, "I'm sorry, Hamik. I was supposed to protect you and your family.  I failed you.  Do whatever you wish to do to me."

Hamik's wife slowly knelt down beside the man in black and asked him his name, which the man in black responded:

John Brown. Captain...now Major Invader.

Your grandfather's war ally during World War II.

He then uttered, "Please....forgive me.  I am so...so...sorry. I thought your family was already dead."

Hamik asked the inevitable question, "What are we supposed to forgive you for?  What is it you believe you've done to us?"

John Brown then mentioned that in 1995, he had been asked by his father, Masso Yashid, to airlift the Yashid family from the Yashid Estate in Iraq and bring them all to safely in the United States.  Brown then mentioned that the helicopter sent to rescue the Yashids crashed while flying through a sandstorm, with the loss of the entire crew. At that same time, Brown said he was also grieving over the death of his wife. By the time the Major was told of the chopper's crash days later, intel came in saying the Yashid family was already found dead all about the estate.  Major Invader thought the entire Yashid family was dead.  He'd promised, on Hassan Yashid's deathbed, that he'd always be there for the Yashid family, no matter what. The Major then ended his story with "I failed in what I'd promised to do.  I didn't even go looking for you. I was a broken man at that time. Instead, I come here every year to light a candle for all of you...and usually kill whatever bastards dared to shack up on the remains of your estate. Regardless, I failed your family. If you can't forgive me, kill me...torture me, beat me...whatever you wish to do. I won't fight you."

In the minutes of silence thereafter, all those around the dilapidated Yashid estate were deep in thought. All could see the frustration in Hamik's eyes, as he paced back and forth, at one point grabbing a gun from Brown's holster and holding it as if debating to kill Brown with it.  With frustration and emotion, Hamik finally ran up to the back of the penitent Brown, pointed the gun to Brown's head...and then dropped the weapon.  Hamik dropped to his knees and began crying. After a short pause, Hamik slowly and painfully said, 'Of course you are forgiven.'

Of the few times Major Invader ever cried...it was then.

They all hugged each other for what seemed forever...until they heard the sound of a drawn bolt of an AK-47 behind them.

They were surrounded by a band of desert raiders.

Brown immediately motioned with his head to Hamik to take cover with his family as Brown sprung into action as Major Invader.

Four seconds later, 12 raiders were dead, with the 13th suffering from a magazine explosion of his own gun courtesy of Major Invader's shot into raider's magazine clip.  The Major pounced on the 13th raider, kicking the broken gun away and removing the raider's boot knife in one fell motion and told the raider (in Arabic), "You live ONLY because I allow it! Allah has blessed you to fulfill one mission for your miserable life of murder and cruelty! You will tell EVERYONE EVERYWHERE, where ever you go, where ever you EAT, you will tell them to NEVER tread foot on the Yashid lands EVER again! If I find ONE person stepping foot on this land, no matter how innocent they are, I will kill every you...or they... hold dear! Test me once, and I guarantee it'll be the last time you'd dare to do so! 10 miles in all directions from this spot is the Yashid Estate...defy me at your own risk, you bastard!".

The Major then took his weapon that affectionately called "Devastator" and fired two stun blasts at the injured raider. When the Major looked back to ensure the Yashids were ok, they stood in amazement of wheat they'd just witnessed.  The Major then began talking to the Yashids all the while going through the raiders pockets and gear; "right now you have nothing here, and I need to fulfill a promise.  I have my stealth chopper  1/2 mile away.  It'll be tight, but I can at least...what a minute here..." as he looked over an Iraqi Intelligence Memo signed by Saddam Hussein himself to 'continue efforts on breaching the Yashid vault; troops are on their way for support.  Guard the estate grounds.'

The Major then asked Hamik where his family's vault was, which Hamik said there was no such thing.  The Major then took out a device and started scanning the area, for which he received an enormous metallurgic detection 20 feet under the center of the estate.  The Major then told Hamik to follow him and for his son to guard the family. Hamik, not knowing what was going on, simply followed the Major...but carrying one of the raider's undamaged AK-47s...just in case.

In the area where the horse stables used to be, the Major found a secret passage down into the ground.  Both followed down dark, cut-out-of-rock steps with only a flashlight to help guide them.  At the bottom of the stairs, over a dozen enormous drill units, crates of explosives and a row of Bazookas greeted them to a nearly breached vault...and three sleeping Iraqi military engineers. The Major quickly knocked out and tied up the engineers and with Hamik's help, hauled them back up topside to where the other unconscious raiders were (some awoke, but Hamik's son was more than happy to 'knock them back out' with the butt of another raider's AK-47). Hamik's son stood guard over all of them, while Hamik and the Major went back down into the vault chamber.

The Major the mentioned to Hamik, "This is your vault. I have no idea what's in it, but Saddam Hussein wants it and that can't be good. It's on your land, ergo, it's your to do with as you please. What do you want to do with it...because we've got maybe 10 minutes before a patrol comes and finds us and kills us".  Hamik asked, "can you breach it?" with the Major nodding, saying, "Hell ya." Hamik then said, we have 5 minutes to breach this then. After that, we must leave. I will not put my family in any more danger."

Before Hamik could finish his sentence, the Major was planting C-4 plastic explosives on stratetic locations. A minute later, after hding for cover, they blew the vault door open.

Before them stood the magical accoutrements of the legendary Arabian Knight: the flying carpet, the bands of protection and the Ebony Scimitar...as well as hundreds of bags of money in varying currencies, amounting to most likely several million dollars, gems, diamonds and stacks of bonds and a note simply labeled, "For the Heir of  the Arabian Knight".  Taking what they could over the next few minutes (which included all the gems, 4 bags of money and bonds and of course all the Arabian Knight items), they bolted out of the vault and with the rest of the Yashid family, ran off into the nearby desert to board Major Invader's Stealth Helicopter and return to the states...but not before leaving a timed incindiary grenade in the vault to turn the remaining money and bonds to instant ash.

It was a dangerous, rough ride, but the Yashids, the Major and their newfound treasures made it out safe and eventually back to the United States (the stealth helo, however, died a grueling self-destruct after a rough landing after it broke down just across the Jordanian border).  The Major first took the Yashids to the antiquated underground Allied Fighters base, where they vaulted their treasures, money and bonds there (Hamik was given access to the vault of course).

After a few hours of smelling the mold and rotted stench of the old abandoned World War II Allied Fighters base, Hamik asked the Major if he could take his family someplace more...healthy.  The Major got him a suite at the Hilton in Boston Back Bay under a new assumed named (using fake ID cards and passports) and handed them a few hundred thousands from the money bags in the vault to tide them over, get new clothes, and 'take in the sites' of Boston while he figured out their next move.

While the Major was away, days later, the Soltan Star Empire invaded Earth.

The Soltans landed over 100,000 Soltan warriors onto the streets of Boston. Within minutes, Hilton the Yashids were staying in was decimated and once again, the Yashids were on the run. The Yashid family made their way to the old Allied Fighters base that Major Invader told them to go in the event of an emergency.  There they hunkered down for the next few hours before Major Invader and a few other superheroes, two of which were already dead, entered the base.  The Major himself looked like he'd been through Hell. he'd been shot three times, his right arm was out of its socket, and the mesh of cybernetics up and down his legs were hissing and fizzing with sparks and smoke.

Over the next couple of days, those who'd made it to the Allied Fighter old abandoned base recovered from their wounds.  The Yashids helped feed, care and comfort the wounded heroes and other rescued people as best they could.  The Major informed them all that the world had fallen to the Soltans and that there was no one left to stop them. Hamik was the first to step forward and say, "The Arabian Knight will stop them!  I will don the legendary role of my forefathers and ancestors and fight!  We shall all fight! If you chose not to follow, then this Arabian Knight will fight without you!". Minutes later, Major Invader put out the call to every last hero he could contact.

Over the next few hours, it was determined that there weren't too many heroes left.  Some had been beaten and were in hiding; most had been killed outright by the Soltans.  Regardless, the few remaining heroes converged upon the old abandoned Allied Fighters base.  In all, 13 of them, one of which was Hamik Yashid AKA the Arabian Knight of 2000, and without any team training or preparation, took the fight straight to the enemy.

This team of "Allied Fighters" saved Boston and New York from absolute destruction, but at a VERY high price. Of the 13 Allied Fighters that went into battle, only two survived - Major Invader, who was hospitalized for years just to learn how to walk again, and Doc Alleviation, a mutant healer, who overtaxed his powers, placing himself in a coma he didn't come out of for over a year.

Hamik Yashid, the Arabian Knight of 2000, died valiantly defusing the New York Soltan bomb, saving millions of lives in New York City.

Months later, the world, united against the alien invaders and chased the Soltans off of Earth.  The Soltans retreated to the the dark side of Mars, where they have been ever since.

Hamik's son, Hassan Jasar Yashid, was presented his father's Arabian Knight flying rug, bands and ebony scimitar at a formal international United Nations Ceremony in remembrance of the fallen heroes of the Soltan Invasion. Hassan held his father in the highest regards and considered him a hero, just as he did for Major Invader.

Sadly, the Yashids took they wealth and belongings and went back to the Middle East region, where, in 2004,  the new Arabian Knight, Hassan Jasar Yashid, began his fight protecting the innocent, all the while making the Middle East a much more stable place though his intervention and actions (See Arabian Knight III below).

Hamik's run as the Arabian Knight of 2000 was short, but his actions added more to the Arabian Knight's heroic legend.  Hamik Yashid was honored with new songs, statues and ceremonies  decrying his selfless sacrifice to save  New York City and the world. As Hamik's wife said in an interview years later with WNN:

"Allah not only smiled upon Hamik, but Allah blessed all of us by giving Hamik unto us to save us all. Honor our blessed Hamik Yashid - The Arabian Knight of 2000. May the world never forget his sacrifice. Ever.".

Early in his life he and his family was ousted from the Yashid Family Estate in Iraq by militants and raiders. In that attack, his grandather and aunt were killed and left for dead. His father, mother, sister and eventually, his newborn sister, were on the run for years, starving, hiding and hunted.  His first sister, sadly, was abducted one night and not seen for many years after that. However, it wasn't until New Years Day of 2000 when Hassan Jasar discover why his family had been hunted - they had a legendary secret.

Hassan Jasar's family bloodline was that of the legendary Arabian Knight  lore.  It was said that each generation had passed on the role of Arabian Knight for hundreds of years, including the Arabian Knight's magical flying carpet, bracers of protection and the powerful Ebony Scimitar.  Hassan had been told tales of his Great Grandfather, in World War II, fighting with the world's greatest band of heroes to stop Nazi Germany and the Axis Powers from taking over the world. The story of the Arabian Knight, as well as the legend, stopped with Hassan Jasar's Great Grandfather.  No one had been given or granted or 'passed down' the Arabian Knight accoutrements, and as such, the Arabian Knight story fell more into myth than fact. Iraqi government officials called upon the Yashids, demanding to know where the Arabian Knight's magical items were, only to tell the authorities they were just as clueless to the items' whereabouts.  This angered the Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, and eventually led to attacking the Yashid estate to find the magical items.  As noted, Hassan Jasar and his family remained on the run, ignorant of any link to their Arabian Knight heritage...that is, until New Years Day of 2000.

While on the run with his family, Hassan Jasar Yashid, arrived at was once the old dilapidated and burned out ruins of the Yashid Family estate.  There, they'd hoped they could try to start again and rebuild, but that was fleeting.   Instead, they came across a man lighting a candle in the damage window sill of the Yashid estate; that was was later identified as John Brown AKA the legendary World War II hero, Major Invader.  After a brief scuffle, Major Invader told the Yashids that he was tasked to rescue the Yashids the day of the raid on their estate, but the rescue helicopter had gone down in a sandstorm and that he'd been told by CIA intel that all the Yashids had been killed in the raid.  The Major said he stopped looking and was devastated over the news. Up until that moment, Major Invader had no idea the Yashids were even on the run, nontheless alive.

Major Invader offered Hassan's father, Hamik Yashid, to do with him as he wished for failing him in saving his family when he was supposed to.  After a short tribulation, Hamik forgave Major Invader.  As they were embracing over this emotional situation, they were all surrounded by a band of raiders with AK-47s. Major Invader made quick work of them, showing a prowess and combat skill that Hassan Jasar swore to himself he'd hope to do and/or rival one day.  After defeating the raiders, the Major and Hamik discovered, from official letters found in a raider's uniform, that they were nearly done 'breaching the Yashid Vault on the old Yashid Estate'.  None of the Yashids knew of any vault on the grounds, but after a quick metallurgic/magnetic field scan, Major Invader discovered a large vault 20 feet below the surface of the estate.

Although Hassan was not directly involved with the vault finding and breaching (that was just his father Hamik and Major Invader (see Arabian Knight II History above)), he was part of the hauling of several bags of equipment, money and jewels that his father and the Major hauled out of the vault's location, all as they ran to Major Invader's Stealth Chopper to escape an incoming patrol of Iraqi troops.

After an arduous journey, the Yashids and Major Invader made their way to Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. There, they all initially hid out in the moldy, dilapidated World War II base of the World War II hero group known as the "Allied Fighters", for which, according to Major Invader he was once the leader of ... and a good friend of Hassan Jasar's Great Grandfather - the last Arabian Knight.  That's when Hassan Jasar saw "it" for the first time: the magical items of the Arabian Knight!  Those items were just some of the items plucked from the Yashid vault than Hamik and Major Invader were able to capture before they all had to run. Hassan Jasar looked at the magical items of the Arabian Knight before him...he knew they belonged to his father, but he knew, deep in his heart, he'd be the Arabian Knight himself.

In January 2000, the Soltan Star Empire invaded all of Earth.  Boston was furiously attacked, causing the Yashids to retreat from their plush Hilton Boston Back Bay hotel they'd just recently move into and out into the chaos of battle and eventually into the safely of the old abandoned Allied Fighters base.  There, the Yashids stayed, taking care of wounded superheroes, citizens in need of saving and most importantly, staying alive.

Hamik Yashid, Hassan Jasar's father, joined Major Invader and 11 other heroes to reform the Allied Fighters and take the fight to the Soltans who, at this point, were in control of the whole planet.  Hamik, now called the Arabian Knight of 2000, was a true warrior.  He fought and led others like a born leader. Although these new Allied Fighters hadn't trained together as a team, their temerity was enough to give the Soltans pause...so much so that the Soltans attempted to destroy all of New York City and Boston.

Hassan Jasar's father, Hamik Yashid, gave his life valiantly defusing the Soltan bomb that would have leveled New York City.

Of the 13 Allied Fighters that went into battle, only Major Invader and another, Doc Alleviation, survived, but were severely injured, hospitalizing them for years thereafter. Months after Hamik's death, the world banded together to oust the Soltans off of Earth, sending them in retreat to the dark side of Mars.

Shortly after the Soltan retreat, the United Nations, in a memorial service for all the heroes of the Soltan Invasion, honored Hassan's father for his sacrifice as the Arabian Knight of 2000.  Hassan Jasar was presented his father's flying carpet, magical bracers and ebony scimitar as part of the ceremony.  Although Hassan Jasar loved and missed his father terribly, he knew what his hew role was to be - the next Arabian Knight.

For the next few years, Hassan Jasar trained with several martial arts, swordsman, wrestling, unlimited fighting and acrobatics coaches to become the epitomy of a perfect fighting machine.  Hassan Jasar practiced constantly, using his new magical items, training how to fly on the carpet and fight, protect himself with the bracers, and fight like a warrior born.  During this time, several Arab nation representatives paid Hassan Jasar a visit, all expecting him to be their nation's Muslim superhero and champion.  Instead, Hassan Jasar said no; he was to fight for the people of Islam and not for nations or borders.  This of course upset the representatives who, in one way or another, threatened Hassan Jasar to do their bidding, or else.  Hassan Jasar chose 'or else.

Starting in 2012, as the world was still rebuilding from the Soltan Invasion, Hassan Jasar, as the new Arabian Knight flew out on patrol on his carpet, righting wrongs, stopping thieves, murderers, rapists and most importantly, saving lives.  He was a true hero of the people; people in the streets spying him flying on his magic carpet in the sky would start chanting his title (in Arabic, of course) "Arabian Knight! Arabian Knight!".  Thanks to a small technical and surveillance support team he'd created, the new Arabian Knight became a type of hero long unseen in the Middle East.  This caused incredible political tensions to 'fix' national issues and stop fighting.  As a result of that, raiders and tribal fighting practically came to a standstill, thanks mostly to the new Arabian Knight's influence.

In 2015, while tracking down a human trafficking ring from out of Jordan, Hassan Jasar found his long lost sister, Terra Yashid.  She'd previously been abducted many years before and had been sold as a wife-slave to an Achmel Al-Yassar. As the Arabian Knight, he rescued his sister from Achmel's compound and flew her back to the recently rebuilt Yashid Estate in Iraq.  There, a traumatized, abused and mentally tortured Terra was only a shell of her former being.  Hassan Jasar went after Achmel and destroyed his estate, freed the other wife-slaves and destroyed his factories and businesses as well.  Although Hassan Jasar believed his vengeance against Achmel to be just, it was 100% illegal and against the laws of their religion and their lands.

Achmel Al-Yassar used every tool he had to vilify Hassan Jasar....and succeeded in doing so.

In 2016, Hassan Jasar, now as head of the family, was ordered to give up his family's estate and riches to Achmel Al-Yassar for compensation for the 'grevious' slights done to Achmel...that, and to also return Terra to Achmel as his 'rightful' wife. He was also told that he was to 'turn over' the Arabian Knight magical items so that they could be 'distributed' to a proper heir in the future.

Hassan Jasar burned his new estate to the ground, along with all the money he had in the 'new' vault at the estate, leaving a burned out shell of a home.  He took what was left of his family, Terra (Yashid) Al-Yassar (his sister), Shara & Achmel Al Basir (his aunt and uncle) and his brother-in-law Abolo Yashid (claiming to be a bastard child of a tryst by Hassan Jasar's father, Hamik, supposedly in his younger days) and his mother, Sahara Yashid. Together, they all traveled to Boston, Massachusetts (for him, once again), where Major Invader was more than happy to provide them a home, money and protection.

For the time being, the Yashid family was safe, but the Muslim community considered the Arabian Knight to now be an Islamic expatriate and a 'puppet of the western world'.  Achmel Al-Yassar has since become obsessed with defeating Hassan Jasar, and will go on to become the Arabian Knight's greatest (and first nemesis) of the 21st century.

Over the next few months, Major Invader and the Arabian Knight trained and worked together in and around Boston.  Recently, the man who'd assassinated Hassan Jasar's Great Great Grandfather was found alive and as young as he was in 1945, as well as ready to take over the world once again as he'd tried in World War II; that man - Baron Berlin.  He and his super-powered soldiers, Axis Force, were somehow back from the dead and taking over Nuremberg, Germany, turning it into the new fascist nation of "Reichsland".  Major Invader, even though nearly 100 years old, is putting together a new Allied Fighters team to defeat the Baron before it gets worse.

Nontheless to say, the Araabian Knight has since joined the team and is now a member of the Allied Fighters' Omega Squad.
